Coming Second means you are the first loser
In life sometimes we console ourselves when we have acheived a lot but fail to reach our goal or come first. But never forget that fact that life is never grey, its always true or false. You win or you lose, conceded wins are nothing but a coin phrase for losers. In life its always all or nothing, second means you are a loser.
You should never settle for anything less than becoming the best because anything else means that you have under-achieved and failed.
Mr Herbst at SHC taught me a lot of things, but the things I will never forget is this quote and his story about Jesus.
